Still the Pain

For Women Who Have Big Hearts: A Practical Spiritual Guide to Recovery from Pain & Heartbreak After Breakup

The method of meditation, which is the heart of this book, teaches you how to remember with perfect clarity your loving God-Self, plugging you back into essentially, what I call, God Current. The tools connect you so deeply into the Divine that even in the seemingly hopeless situation I found myself in; my relationship just ending, pregnant and a single mother, I was filled with a Stillness that was stronger than the terror that could have been experienced by my life's circumstances.

About The Book

The pain and heartbreak of a relationship ending is devastating. It can leave you balled up on the cold hard floor or rotting on the couch in crippling pain for weeks, even months. Loneliness and feelings of worthlessness can be overwhelming. Time slows down and every minute becomes unbearable.

This book was born out of real heartbreak, and an urgent necessity to get over the loss and pain of two serious relationships ending and a mid-term miscarriage simultaneously. It gives you step by step guidance into a method of mediation that took me from the throes of despair and hopelessness, to becoming a bestselling author, public speaker and mediation guide in just a few short months.

Other books on breakup will provide you with the initial courage to go “No Contact.” They advise you to stop thinking about your ex, texting, calling, checking social media, driving by their house. They may explain the Stages of Grief or have you make a list of all the trauma you experienced so that when you are reminiscing about the good times, you can remind yourself why this relationship was slowly eroding your self-esteem and leaving you chasing bread crumbs of affection.

These things just Do Not Work.

  • How do you just stop thinking about someone you gave your loyal and tender heart to

  • Your precious and finite time

  • Your energy

  • Your loving devotion

  • Someone you envisioned a lifelong happy future together with

  • What do you do when the feelings of loneliness and isolation hit

  • The shocking panic when you see your ex has moved on with another

These are deeply emotional matters of the heart and require more than just steeling your emotions and willing yourself better.

In this book you will learn a method of frequency mediation called The Method of Stillness. This method will work deeply in your body and nervous system, internally changing your subconscious beliefs about yourself and your worthiness of a loving, caring, and devoted partner. You will establish a new relationship blueprint on an energetic level so that you will no longer attract men that want to use you and then discard you.

This simple, yet powerful, method of holding a New Frequency through meditation, will quickly assist you in leaving behind the pain and hopelessness you may be feeling today. It will guide you on a journey of renewal, walking you through a portal that will transform the garden of your heart and life.

One of the standout features of the book is "The Method of Stillness" – a unique meditation technique that Crow developed through her own healing journey. This is not just theoretical advice; it’s a practical tool that empowers readers to actively participate in their healing. Instead of telling readers to simply "move on," Crow equips them with a structured method to process their pain, rewire negative thought patterns, and ultimately attract healthier relationships.

The book promises to help readers:

Release the emotional burden of heartbreak and reclaim their peace.
Rewire their subconscious minds to draw in lasting love.
Break free from repetitive cycles that lead to emotional distress.
Master a guided meditation technique that effectively heals emotional wounds by shifting internal energy.

I love how vulnerably Shelle dives into her life experiences that were relatable to my own. It takes a lot of courage to open oneself up like that to connect with a reader. I believe that the stories and key concepts Shelle shared are foundational to reconnecting with the parts of ourselves we feel we’ve lost in times of grief. This is a great resource for anyone who is experiencing loss or needing to understand how to pick themselves up and move forward with their life again. I highly recommend!

I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to heal, re-connect, or just figure out why they continue to be stuck in the same patterns. Why do caring, loving females attract men that are unavailable or unable to create healthy relationships? Why did/do I? This book really helped me understand myself better. The men weren’t the problem, the problem was that I was attracted to these types of men. It’s always been either they are the problem, or I am the problem. This book gave me another perspective, another way of thinking. I am so grateful for that. I am not the problem, and there is a solution. This book is short, easy to read, and it gets to the point. I like the way its set-up. It switches back and forth between personal stories and the concepts she is teaching. This helped me stay interested and focused. Shelle is funny, vulnerable, honest, and dead serious when necessary. She shares some of the worst parts of her & I respect her and relate to that. Even though my situations and relationships were different, I could relate to everything she shared. She explains the concepts of meditation, and frequency in a way that everyone can understand. After reading this book, I feel like I have a plan, and a way forward. She also offers lots of free tutorials and guides on her website. If you are interested in changing your reality this book is a great start. I am excited to start implementing meditation into my life. Thank you Shelle! This book was the jumpstart I needed. I am looking forward to my future again. Many thanks & blessings. <3

In "Still the Pain", Shelle offers a deeply personal account of her struggles with unhealthy relationships and the heart break associated with them while candidly sharing her moments of vulnerability and triumph. The book delves into her journey of self-discovery, through the heart break of troubled relationships, while emphasizing how she faced her emotional challenges head-on. Shelle’s reflections are both poignant and empowering, culminating in practical exercises she has discovered through her on-going self discovery. Shelle encapsulates her transformative experience with the powerful realization: "for the first time, I knew I could do this without a partner. I didn't need someone to step in and rescue me, someone to make life happy and beautiful... Now I know that I have what it takes. I'm the only one that can rescue me." "Still the Pain" is not only a memoir but can be seen as a resource for anyone seeking to find their own path to healing and independence from unhealthy relationships.
